Ionian Sea

Greece Like you have never seen it before!

Our daily schedule was so relaxed, stress seemed to float away. Up early to watch the sunrise over the majestic mountains of |the Ionian Sea.

Yogurt and fruit for breakfast with a coo off swim.

Then power to a secluded beach/island preferably with a Tiki Bar.

Bortoletto /Lockwood Greek salad with the real Italian seasoning.

Then we would wait for the wind to come up around 3 and have a great sail to the next taverna.

Then there was the 5:00 charcuterie board challenge, delicious!

First stop was in Mytica for dinner at Pharos. And the catch of the day for dinner, whatever the father caught. Had a few issues with up and down on the anchor, but figured it out  and went ashore for dinner.
The Pharo

We had a little trouble anchoring here but once Haley figured out down was up and up was down we were all set!

The girls doing the anchor thing.

                                                           Another beautiful sunset.

Another favorite place for dinner "The Grotto". Look at the wine bottle, we did not drink it all.

The Daniela got to drive, what fun!

Could not of survived without these two. The perfect crew.

Then there was Sue a life long friend. One of those forever friends.

Made a stop at Koni, one of our favorite coves and cafes.
Haley and Paige made the obligatory climb to the windmills.

                                                              Cocktails with the crew!

Dinner on the top of Kioni in the twinkle lights.

We sailed to more coves than I can remember. A very lovely sail.

While in Kioni we sprinkled some of Kirks ashes at Sausage Beach and had a beer and sausage in his honor.(Had more than one)

Last stop was Spotahorri, great dinner with good friends.

Was a fantastic sail with a great crew.
